BLIVE AI Documentation

The complete guide to BLIVE AI — install, connect, and set up every feature. First-time setup takes about 10 minutes; this page then doubles as a reference for every button and panel.

1. Install the App

Download the version for your platform from the download page.

macOS first launch

1. Open the downloaded .zip — BLIVE AI.app appears.
2. Drag BLIVE AI.app into your Applications folder (don’t run it from the DMG or Downloads, or auto-update can’t work).
3. The first time you open it, macOS Gatekeeper blocks it with “cannot be opened”. Right-click → Open → Open to bypass.
4. From then on it opens normally.

Windows first launch

1. Unzip the downloaded file, or run the .exe installer.
2. SmartScreen may warn “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info → Run anyway.

2. Sign In

1. Click Sign in (top-right). A browser opens to bliveai.com/auth/device-login.
2. Enter the email + password you registered with. No account yet? Sign up first.
3. The browser closes automatically; the app shows your name and plan badge.

You can also use the app without signing in at the Free tier — 5 rules, no custom uploads, no region switching.

3. Connect Your TikTok Account

1. In the top bar, type your TikTok username (without the @).
2. Click Connect. The status dot turns green when connected; live viewer count shows next to it.
3. The account must be live streaming for gifts, chats, likes and follows to come through.

Status meanings: Disconnected (idle) · Connecting · Connected / Running (receiving events) · Paused · Error (hover for the reason — usually “not currently live” or “username not found”).

4. Main Window Overview

The left panel is your gift menu; the tabs across the top switch what kind of event you’re configuring:

• 🎁 Gifts — map a gift to an effect.
• 💬 Chat — trigger on a chat keyword.
• ⭐ Follow / ❤️ Like — trigger on new follows or like milestones.
• 🎙️ Voice — trigger by speaking a keyword.

Other top-bar controls: the language flag (UI language), the region flag (TikTok gift catalog, Pro), the 🎨 theme picker (9 brand themes), ✨ Customize (opens the overlay design panel), and the OBS / capture buttons.

5. Configure Gift Rules

The gift menu lists every TikTok gift for your region with its name, tier, and diamond value. Use the search box to find a gift, and the filter to show All / Configured / Unconfigured.

1. Click the + next to a gift (or expand its row).
2. Pick the effect from the dropdown (built-in or your uploads).
3. Set a cooldown (seconds) — optional, prevents spam when the same gift arrives repeatedly.
4. Toggle Show in sidebar if you want this gift to appear in the capture-window sidebar.
5. Click Save. The gift now shows its current effect.

Free tier: up to 5 rules total. Pro: unlimited. Use the Test button on any rule to fire its effect immediately without a real gift.

6. Chat, Follow & Like Triggers

• Chat keyword — on the Chat tab, set a keyword and the effect to fire when a viewer types it. Leave the condition as “any event” to fire on every comment.
• Follow — fire an effect on each new follower.
• Like — fire on like milestones.
• Each rule has its own cooldown and enable toggle, exactly like gift rules.

7. Voice Keyword Triggers

Say a word out loud — like “rocket” or “dragon” — and the matching effect fires, hands-free. Recognition runs on your device in 9 languages; no audio leaves your computer.

1. Open the 🎙️ Voice tab and pick your spoken language.
2. Add keywords and bind each to an effect.
3. Start the engine — the status shows Listening; Recent matches lists what it heard and hit.

If nothing triggers: check the mic permission prompt (browser/OS), confirm the language matches what you speak, and watch the diagnostics line — it shows the normalized transcript and which keywords were compared.

8. Effects Library & Custom Uploads (Pro)

The library holds 28+ built-in cinematic effects plus anything you upload. Use Upload video effect or Upload audio effect:

• Video: MP4, WebM, GIF up to 50 MB. Give it a name and a play duration.
• Audio: MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A up to 10 MB.

Uploaded effects appear in every effect dropdown (gift rules, wheel slots, jars). Delete an effect from the library; if it’s in use, the app warns you first.

9. The Customize Panel

Click ✨ Customize to open the overlay design panel. It has tabs for each on-stream element: Banner, Sidebar, Bubbles, Gift Jar, Wheel, Leaderboard, Face Tracking, AI Workshop. Drag mode lets you reposition elements directly on the capture window. Reset restores defaults.

9.1 Top Banner

A headline strip across the top (or bottom) of your stream. Modes: Built-in / Text / Image / Video. For text, set the main title + subtitle, font, style preset, colors, size, weight, letter spacing, background color/opacity, and optional marquee scrolling. Choose Top or Bottom position.

9.2 Sidebar (Effect Zone / Command Zone)

Two on-stream lists that show viewers which gifts trigger which effects. Toggle Show left / Show right, swap them, and set width, opacity, and top/bottom offsets. Give each side a custom title.

9.3 Chat Bubbles

Floating comment bubbles. Enable them, optionally show top viewers only (and how many), and pick a style: classic, minimal, frosted, gradient, cartoon, or neon.

9.4 Theme Color

The 🎨 picker recolors the whole UI + overlay accents. 9 themes: Phoenix Red, Warm Orange, Gold Luxury, Ice Blue, Emerald Green, Deep Purple, Rose Gold, Cyber Cyan, Midnight Black.

10. Lucky Wheel

A luxury prize wheel that spins when a chosen gift arrives. Open Customize → Wheel.

1. Turn the wheel on and pick the trigger gift (which gift makes it spin).
2. Add 2–12 slots. Each slot has a kind: Effect (fires an effect), Action (shows a streamer dare like “20 push-ups”, with optional music), Video (plays a clip you upload), or Album (plays a photo album).
3. Set each slot’s weight (higher = more likely to win), and optionally a custom wedge label and image.
4. Adjust spin duration, size, position, show lucky number, and the corner-promo widget (show promo).
5. Use Test spin to preview, then Save.

11. Gift Jars (Accumulators)

A jar that fills as gifts arrive and pays off when it hits a target — great for leaderboard pushes. Open Customize → Gift Jar → Add.

1. Name the jar and pick a metric: a specific gift, any gift, total diamonds, likes, new follows, members joined, or chats.
2. Set the threshold (the target count) and fill color.
3. Pick a container style: jar, vase, heart, box, star, or progress bar.
4. Choose what happens when it fills — On complete: Effect (fire a top-tier effect) or Album (play a photo album).
5. Leave reset on complete on so it loops for the next push.

11.1 Photo Album playback

Both gift jars (on-complete = Album) and wheel slots (kind = Album) can play a fan photo album. In the album editor: pick a style (Fullscreen Ken-Burns, Frame pop, or Collage), a frame preset for Frame style (Polaroid, Wood, Gold, Film), add photos (and videos / background music — Pro), and set the seconds per photo.

12. Leaderboard

A top-gifters ranking on your stream. In Customize → Leaderboard: enable it and set top/right distance, width, and opacity.

13. Face Tracking

Anchors certain effects to your face in real time (needs a webcam; the first use downloads a small model). In Customize → Face Tracking: pick your camera and toggle tracking — status shows Tracking / No face / Loading.

14. AI Workshop

Generate custom effects from a text prompt. In Customize → AI Workshop: paste your API key, write a prompt, and Generate — results land in your effect library, ready to bind to gifts.

15. Show Effects on Your Stream

Three ways to get the effects into your broadcast:

Option A: One-click OBS integration (recommended)

1. Open OBS Studio 28+.
2. In OBS: Tools → obs-websocket Settings → ☑ Enable WebSocket server. (Disable Auth for zero setup, or set a password and enter it in BLIVE AI when asked.)
3. In BLIVE AI, click Add to OBS (top-right). A BLIVE AI Effects browser source is added to your current scene. Done.

Option B: Transparent capture window (for TikTok Live Studio)

TikTok Live Studio doesn’t support browser sources, so:

1. Click Open capture window — a frameless, always-on-top, transparent window appears.
2. In TLS / OBS / Streamlabs, add a Window Capture source and select “BLIVE AI Effects (capture)”.
3. The capture window also has its floating toolbar (Add to OBS / Customize / Close / Preview).

Option C: Manual browser source

1. Add a Browser Source in OBS or any compatible software.
2. URL: http://localhost:7890/blive · Width 1920 · Height 1080 · leave Custom CSS empty (the page is already transparent).

16. Language & Region

• Click the language flag to switch the UI language (9 languages).
• Click the region flag to switch the TikTok gift catalog (13 regions). Pro only.

17. Manage Subscription

Open your dashboard to upgrade, cancel, view invoices, or change payment method. The desktop app reflects changes within ~30 seconds. Free trial is 14 days with every Pro feature; after that the Free tier keeps 5 rules + 5 effects.
